I was so thankful to find a parking spot easily this morning when I was rushing to work, through my watch stopping, I thought it was earlier than it was, so I had to make a mad dash!

I`ve got on top of the jobs I had lined up to do this week. Hurrah!

Sky

I delighted in the sight of a beautiful red sky this morning. Yes, I know that`s not supposed to be a good weather sign, but it was so stunning to see.

Meeting

A meeting/group I had to lead this evening went well.

Time

Although I`ve not managed to find time to write my blessings on here the last couple of days I have still been counting them.
Monday: That a meeting I attended in the evening didn`t go on as long as I thought it might.
Tuesday: For spending an enjoyable evening setting up a website
Wednesday: That I`ve found time to catch up with writing this!

Leisure

Found time to have a lazy evening watching programmes I`d videod through the week when I didn`t have time to watch them.

Food, glorious food

Enjoyed some delicious local caught cod for lunch today.

Song

Our house is again filled with the beautful sound of bird song, from our new canary.

Not Snow

More rain today, all day long - still at least for the time of year it wasn`t snow, hail and ice, so thats something to be very thankful for I always think.

Dance

Counting blessings today..... for the ability to dance.

Friend

A friend came to my rescue today, by stepping in to do something I`d overlooked asking anyone to do. Was I grateful!

Sadness & Joy

It`s difficult to find something to count my blessings for today, while I`m feeling sad over the death of my little pet. But, yet I should be thankful for the time we had him and the joy he gave, so yes, I will count my blessings for that.

Rain

It`s been a rainy day here today, but although we moan about it, without it we wouldn`t have water, so Thank you, Lord, for rain.

Calm

I`m counting my blessings today that I managed to keep my nerves under control for an interview I attended.

Good Neighbours

Needing to put our Christmas trimmings up into the loft, and the person who usually does it for us having just come out of hospital being unable to, we rang a neighbour. Without any hesititiion he said yes and within a short time, and bringing his son to help, he was here. What a blessing good neighbours are.

Fireside

Enjoyed a nice quiet evening in by the fireside after a day at work

Covenant

Our Covenant Service today was a real blessing. The sermon, hymns and the words of the Covenant with our responses seemed to be so personal to me at this time.

Saturday afternoon

I`m counting my blessing today for the fact that I now don`t have to work on Saturday afternoons.

Life Today

Reading though some books from over two centurys ago, today, really set me thinking when I saw that so many were either servants or paupers, how fortunate we are to be living in this century.

Teatime Treat

Having had a goose for our Christmas lunch, we have now a large bowl of goose dripping. This spread on hot toast with a light sprinkle of salt, made a delicious teatime treat. So many things about that to give thanks for... food, salt, the taste, the abitilty to taste.....

Friends

Spent an enjoyable afternoon working on some church work with a friend.
